Pros: - Higher build quality
- More user friendly operating system/interface - easier to deal with
- Higher re-sale value
- Works with nearly all windows programs
- Also runs windows
- High quality components - tech is highgrade, keyboard, screen, touchpad, charger advanced technology, intergrated DVD drive that doesn't pop out, you slide in the CD - better for CD and safer for computer
- There are no recorded viruses for Macs
- No need for an anti-virus program if you have a Mac
- Choice of native programs for Mac are very cool
- Glowing Apple!
- It's a very beautiful piece of art
- Don't have to run programs like disk cleaner, because useless information doesn't get stored
- Apple's word processing tools are more professional than MS word - "pages"
- Powerpoint alternative - "Keynote" - better than powerpoint as it looks a lot of better in presentation, slides look better, you can change the resolution you set it at. Powerpoint is square and is the same size. Keynote can be set up in so many different ways, and easier to deal with than Powerpoint and MS word.
- Apple documents are interchangeable to MS formats
- Made of aluminium and is much easier to transport around that other brands of laptops
- Much stronger, and tougher than a lot of people would believe. The plastic laptops are resembled to act as aluminium. The aluminium laptops are made out of one block of aluminium, so there are no openinngs in the case - extremely hardy and tough i.e. long lasting and not prone to wear and tear
- Macbooks are a STAPLE of the journalism and scientific sector
- Customer service and warranties are of a very high standard
- Runs much faster than a windows PC
- Performance of a mac does not slow down with time
- It's magical
- because it's a mac, it's so good, I can come up with 23 reasons !

Pros:
- they make a mac look ten times better
- Naturally lower battery life
- Windows "cooks" batteries - Mac runs for 3 hours when running windows, windows runs for 1.5 hours
- It's boring
- easy to get a virus
- Requires an anti-virus program - must have

ReplyDeleteActually, I find myself baffled by people who don't favour Macs. What's wrong with them? Can't they see? I just don't get it. Failure to be won over by the glowing apple suggests a shocking lack of judgment, style, imagination and class. These people don't deserve to be happy, frankly, and they bring these viruses upon themselves.
I'm just saying.
